Bring your kayak or join one of the local tour operators for an excursion along the rugged shores and secluded beaches of Port Mouton Bay. And don’t forget your binoculars! You may want to observe species of shorebirds, seals, and even the occasional sea turtle, porpoise or whale. From the Cottage you can conveniently visit the inland portion of Kejimkujik National Park and Queen County’s famous ocean parks: the spectacular Kejimkujik Seaside Park, the Thomas Raddall and the White Point Provincial Park, and the Port Joli Federal Bird Sanctuary. Willow Cove Cottage is located in the quiet and quaint fishing village of Port Mouton, approximately 10 km south of the historic town of Liverpool. The cottage is situated on a 2-acre oceanfront property with views of and direct access to marvellous Port Mouton Bay. Carter's Beach – probably the most beautiful white sandy beach along the South Shore – is only about a 10-minute walk away.
